Fashion for short and rounded
While I would like to consider myself petite, the truth is, I am just short and rounded. What I am wondering is there a rule of thumb about wearing Capri pants? I have seen other women my height and weight wear them and they look nice. I always feel so self conscious that I tend to lean toward full-length pants. Any thoughts on this subject would be appreciated.

I am also short and rounded Tammy. :) But, I think, if you find something nice and it fits well go with it. Sometimes the Capri’s I buy fit just right and other times they seem a little longer than they should. Buying Capri’s in petites is not easy. However, the Capri’s I have, I really like, despite the fact one or two pairs might be a tad on the long side. But they work anyway. I've seen some tall women with Capri’s that are a tad too short or a tad long too so I don't really worry about it. :D

Hmmm...I can relate on the issue of height. I've always had a problem with capris. Over time I've noticed that the length, in particular where the shorts hit the leg, is most crucial. For me, capris have to hit at or just above my knee to be most flattering. In addition, my best fitting shorts are straight with no frills--no cuffs, no flap pockets, no patterns, none of that stuff.
I'm undertall and skinny-challenged as well! ;) Recently, I've been hemming my capri's so that they'll be the correct length. It's a little bit of an inconvenience, but in the end, it's worth it to me to have them look like they're capri's and not high-waters! lol

Tammy, don't feel bad. I think that many of us face the same challenges that you do. I shop for my shorts, pants and capri's in the petite section of most stores so that I can be sure that the length is close to what I need. Angela does have an idea about hemming, but I'm just too lazy to consider that. LOL!
