It is so funny you mentioned “a blast from the past” perfume, Angela. I was recently in Marshalls and was looking for something new to try and I kept coming across Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden. Do you remember that?
I have a problem with wearing only one perfume at a time and I tend to avoid it, if I can. As time goes on, I get so used to the smell of a particular perfume. This in turn makes me immune to the scent and I end up putting on too much, and killing everyone around me with my smell. Nothing is worse than being in a doctors office or a small space, with a room full of people, and they all start sneezing. LOL It is very embarrassing when I realize I have put on too much perfume.
Getting back to Sunflowers, I used to wear it back in the mid-eighties and it was one of my favorite perfumes. Just looking at the box brought back many memories for me. Too bad I had overused Sunflowers, years ago. To this day, if I smell Sunflowers, it makes me get an immediate headache. LOL
Does anyone else have a particular perfume that reminds them of a certain time span in their life? Do the memories fly back into your mind, as if it were yesterday?
