How are you accessorizing this spring and summer? Bangle bracelets? Dangle earrings? Beaded necklaces? Are you sticking to the classic silver and gold or are you branching out to some colorful choices?

Heidi, I have to admit I'm pretty easy going and stick to gold and white gold. Every now and then I get adventurous and wear some beaded bracelets or a colorful necklace, but not often. I love jewelry, yet I don't wear jewelry on a daily basis. Annie Share your fashion sense with friends and family; have them join the What's In community today!

I have not always focused on accessories, but this summer I am. I love finding accessories that are just right. I'm particularly drawn to chunky bracelets lately. WhatsInHost Shann

I have a few certain pieces of gold jewelry that I wear 24/7 year around, however when the warm sandal weather hits, I always break out the bright nail polish and buy a sparkly toe-ring. I guess it’s just something about shiny toes that makes me feel young. LOL Tammy

When I accessorize, I try to find something that fits with my outfit. If I'm wearing something funky, I'll wear the bangle bracelets. If it's a subdued outfit, I'll go with something simple like a small pair of earrings to go with a simple necklace. I don't like to overdo it too much.

I'm not huge into jewelry so I tend to stick to a few basic pieces. I prefer white gold or silver and my favorite gemstone is Tanzanite. I do love dangle earrings, but only if they're not too huge. Generally I only wear my rings and my nose ring, yk, since it doesn't come out LOL. If I do put some jewelry on it's a Tanzanite and white gold necklace, a silver and diamond bracelet and a pair of earrings.
I have a pearl set (necklace, bracelet and earrings) that I will wear on special occasions.

I don't really change my earrings (though I did find a new pair that I would love for my hubby to surprise me with for our anniversary). I wear a pair of diamond studs every day. LOL! Not very creative, but they definitely go with everything. Shannon

I can't wear much in the way of jewelry at the moment, due to my youngest. I'm always scared I'll scratch her with a necklace or pin. I do wear my earrings everyday, but like Shannon, I'm not creative and wear diamond studs. Angela

I know when we think of accessories, immediately our mind goes to the obvious: jewelry. But there are so many other ways to accessorize. What you wear in your hair is an accessory. Shoes and bags are accessories. Scarves are a pretty hot little accessory right now, too. Do you guys ever where scarves? I mean - besides the obvious wool ones to keep your neck warm!
I never have but I really think they can be quite sharp when worn correctly!
What about these?

I haven't ever worn one, but that's not to say I won't. They seem to go with anything. I just never really have been a big accesorizer *wondering if that is a new marshall's word now* Tam

My sister has started wearing scarves as belts! I would have never thought of this until I saw her, and now a few others, doing so. Of course, my sister is rail thin, I'm not too sure I can FIND a scarf that is long enough to go around my waist! Angela Are you "In the know" about all things fashion? One of my most favorite looks is the simple v-neck tee with a really funky necklace to totally make you look stylish yet sophisticated... I do it all the time Has anyone ever tried that?

I don't have any v-neck shirts right now, but I bet this look is very in style, Lisa! You should start a photo album and show us all your fashions! Angela

Scarves as accessories never entered my thoughts. My son's girlfriend wears them all the time in the cooler weather and they are totally cute. She has every color scarf available I think. LOL I think I’ve gotten in a rut where I think I am “too old” for certain things I see others wearing. I really need to work on my perspectives. Tammy
