What Color Are You?

Color experts all agree that people usually fall into one of two categories when wearing color in their wardrobes. There are the warm colors and the cool colors.

Sometimes you may find people that are a combination of the two colors, they are the lucky ones. Having any color imaginable look good on you is a Wonderful thing.

Above you will find a chart that shows the warm and cool colors. See if the colors fit what is already in your closet. I was amazed to see that I do not have anything from the warm side of the chart. My closet is filled with all cool colors.

What category do you all fall into, or are you the lucky combination person that can wear both sides of the color chart?

Hi Roe

I was surprised to find clothing from both warm and cool sides in my closet. I definitely can’t wear all the colors from each side but I do have nice selection of the colors. Red, navy blue and bright yellow (to name a few) just don’t do anything to compliment me. I have always been envious of women who can pull off wearing red. Red is such a powerful, commanding, confidence color in my opinion. I think dark haired women look wonderful in red. What do you think?

I must say that I'm both "warm" and "cool". Wow, I'm flattered! To think that having a combination of all these colors in my closet makes me one of the lucky few!

I guess being in the Northeast, you sort of have to have a variety of colors in your wardrobe to fit in with every season. I wonder if you tested different regions of the country, or even looked at an international scale what the differences would be!

It's funny how black isn't on the color scheme. If I had to guess, I'd say it would fall under the "cool" colors since they seem a bit darker, but I actually have no idea. Or maybe it just doesn't go anywhere... black is black, and will always be black!

How lucky you are Lisa! I think I read that almost everyone can wear black, so maybe that's why it's not on there. Do you find that you have more of one side than the other?
